The district includes a continuation high school which was established in 2008, two community day schools, one high and one middle, one primary school, one middle school and two K-8 schools. The district serves students within a 257 square-mile area.
Linden High School began classes in 1921. The student population at Linden High School is unusually stable. Several families have attended the school for a couple of generations. Several staff members are themselves graduates of Linden High School. This stability provides a rich history and character to the school. Many remember when the football field was still a cherry orchard and the elementary school was on the east end of the campus.
