Linden Athletic Boosters Club 

        Supporting Linden Youth Sports Since 1961


 


Since 1961, the Linden Athletic Boosters Club has provided over two-million dollars of financial support for all types of athletic endeavors throughout the Linden community.  On average we donate approximately 50,000 every year.  In general our donations go towards purchasing uniforms and equipment for sports at Linden High School; making significant improvements to the sports facilities throughout Linden Unified School District; facility fees for LHS golf & tennis; Freshman Sports; scholarships for our graduating student athletes; and awards for LHS athletes/teams. In addition support is given to Linden youth/middle school sports and the LUSD PE programs. The Linden Athletic Hall of Fame was started in 2006, and the Boosters Club helps to sponsor the event, which now takes place bi-annually. On occasion we also help make monetary donations toward non-athletic endeavors in Linden Community such as Linden Jr. Miss, The Linden High School Band, the LUSD Middle School Band, ACE Show Choir and the Linden High School Associated Student Body. 

The Linden Athletic Boosters Club is able to make these types of contributions by staging six major fundraisers during the school year.  These fundraisers include the; Kick-Off Dinner & Dance; World Series Pool; Baroldi & Rib Dinner; Golf Tournament;  Reverse Raffle; and Cash Calendar.  These fundraisers, along with revenues generated from membership dues, ads and sales of our Fall Sports Program & Sports Posters, the concession stand during home football games, occasional Baseball Bus Trips and our TEAM Store allows us to provide the needed support to Linden Community Sports. Fund Raising & Events  

A large number of you have been strong supporters of the Linden Athletic Boosters Club for many years and we thank you and look forward to your continued support. But, many of you are hearing about us for the first time, please consider becoming a member. We also strongly urge you to attend our fundraisers throughout the year. With your help, we can continue to make the significant contributions we have made in the past, to ensure Linden Athletics is the best it can possibly be.  GO LIONS!


 

Linden Athletic Boosters Club Mission Statement

The Linden Athletic Boosters Club is a charitable, non-profit organization, founded in 1961 whose purpose is to provide the financial backing for the advancement and needs to keep Linden High School Athletic programs and Linden Community Youth Sport programs active, viable and successful; to encourage enthusiastic support and interest in Linden High Athletics & Linden Community Youth Sports; to award scholarships which contribute to the post-secondary education of graduating Linden High athletes; aid in the support of  the Linden Athletic Hall of Fame; and to lend support to the Linden High School Athletic Director and Coaches. We achieve these goals by organizing events, fundraisers, projects, and assist in building the pride and spirit in all Linden Athletic Programs.

MEETING MINUTES APPROVED

MEETINGS

 

All are welcome,

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Community Room at Farmers & Merchants Bank, Linden CA.  ***NOTE- Meetings since late 2020 have had to take place at the Linden High School Library and will continue there until Covid-19 restrictions are lifted at the F & M Bank Community Room. 

General format of our meetings includes our regular business of reviewing our financial reports, projects and upcoming events; our LHS Coaches & Athletic Director  present reports; and we accept donation requests from Linden Community athletic groups.  Requests for donation are only taken in person, please bring multiple quotes and sample if possible.
